Internationally highly recognized Sibelius specialist Folke Gräsbeck has recorded the complete piano works of the composer and earned numerous prizes and decorations. In the Väyläfestival opening concert, he performs works Finland’s celebrated national composer as well as from the illuminous Nordic composers Grieg, Schierbeck, Leifs, Söderlundh, and O.Merikanto.
