The Väyläfestival is a multifaceted arts festival taking place in the Torne River Valley, an area reaching onto the terrain of the three Scandinavian countries: Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The festival presents Nordic artist and offers a unique summit of the arts in the heart of Lapland.
This year’s Väyläfestival takes place in Finland and Sweden between June 26th – July 4th. Expect unforgettable encounters with music, visual arts, poetry, speakers, and of course nature. The festival commences at Aine Art Museum in Tornio in the south and reaches Muonio in the north, along the way events take place in Ylitornio, Övertorneå, and Pajala.
