The Väyläfestival is a multifaceted arts festival taking place in the Torne River Valley, an area reaching onto the terrain of the three Scandinavian countries: Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The festival presents Nordic artist and offers a unique summit of the arts in the heart of Lapland.
The summer still a few months away, Väyläfestival’s Winter Journey concerts can be enjoyed in the Övertorneå and Pello churches on March 29 & 30. Oulu Sinfonia Chamber Musicians make their Väyläfestival debut performing works for string quartet and digderidoo.
The ninth edition of Väyläfestival is presented in various locations around Torne River Valley from June 28 to July 5, 2025. This year’s program locations are Pello, Kolari, Enontekiö, Övertorneå, Pajala, and Kiruna. Expect unforgettable encounters with music, literature, film, speakers, and of course nature. Full program will be made public on the Easter week.
