{"id":460,"date":"2017-05-19T11:14:19","date_gmt":"2017-05-19T08:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vaylafestival.com\/fi\/?page_id=460"},"modified":"2017-05-22T08:51:38","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T05:51:38","slug":"suoni-english","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vaylafestival.com\/fi\/suoni-english\/","title":{"rendered":"THE SUONI PERFORMANCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><i>Suoni (<\/i>Eng.<i> Vein)\u00a0<\/i>is a performance-work created for the V\u00e4yl\u00e4festival by Katariina Angeria, an artist native to the Torne River Valley.<i>\u00a0<\/i>The work spans the entire festival tying the other program elements together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Suoni<\/em> follows an improvised route along the river and unfolds in an improvised manner. Ms. Angeria with dances at people&#8217;s homes and on their yards. At times she will dance from being human into to water and again from water into human. The work is, on the one hand, a meditation and, on the other hand, an homage to our &#8220;water bodies&#8221; and the interaction between people and the river. During the course of the work, she&#8217;s expecting to live dependent on the local people, relying on their generosity, sleep at people&#8217;s homes and if necessary, in barns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">For <i>Suoni<\/i>, Ms. Angeria has woven the fabric for a national costume of the Torne River Valley, which she wears during the piece. Ms. Angeria makes the journey riding a bicycle pulling a small trailer with some necessary equipment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Follow the course of <em>Suoni<\/em>\u00a0at the <a href=\"http:\/\/vaylafestival.com\/fi\/suoni\/\">Suoni blog<\/a>\u00a0and in facebook.
