Suoni (<\/i>Eng. Vein)\u00a0<\/i>is a performance-work created for the V\u00e4yl\u00e4festival by Katariina Angeria, an artist native to the Torne River Valley.\u00a0<\/i>The work spans the entire festival tying the other program elements together.<\/p>\n
Suoni<\/em> follows an improvised route along the river and unfolds in an improvised manner. Ms. Angeria with dances at people’s homes and on their yards. At times she will dance from being human into to water and again from water into human. The work is, on the one hand, a meditation and, on the other hand, an homage to our “water bodies” and the interaction between people and the river.
